Erica was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. Before becoming an Attorney, she served in the United States Air Force for nearly 8 years. She then obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2011 and went to Law School at Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, TX where she graduated in 2014. In August 2015, she joined the Bexar County Public Defender’s Office and spearheaded the Central Magistration jail diversion program where she represented arrested persons at the initial bail hearing and diverted them into Mental Health Services instead of jail. Erica now works in the Mental Health Unit where she ensures you are afforded all of the protections provided through law.
