Every week two local entrepreneurs present their business ideas to an audience of fellow entrepreneurs, advisors and mentors via a 6-minute, live presentation with audience feedback and questions. Presenters gain invaluable, supportive insight to help foster their business, and have the opportunity to network with members of the San Antonio entrepreneurial community. Audience participants hear about exciting business concepts and engage with presenters in a casual, responsive environment. Join us every Wednesday for 1 Million Cups at our beautiful Launch San Antonio space located inside the San Antonio Public Library at 600 Soledad St. Let us know you’re coming, or request to present here.

In 2011, Marcelino recognized that small business owners were often lacking in a fundamental understanding of commercial real estate and its tools. For owners as they delved into the intricacies of commercial real estate, their decision-making process became daunting. As a result, Marcelino, and Leslie Y. Ayala, CRE Business Analyst, set out to simplifying the Commercial Real Estate process. By way of a two-hour workshop, they educate and prepare business owners with an understanding of the commercial real estate market in order that they may meet their acquisition goals.   9. VIA Hands on Training: Payment Verification

    Join VIA Metropolitan Transit and the Maestro Entrepreneur Center for an opportunity to learn and have hands on one-on-one training on navigating monthly online payment verification. VIA will require self-payment verification for primes and subcontractors in the upcoming months on all new contracts. Receive personalized training, learn to maneuver through the VIA Portal, and discover the importance of verifying payments as a small business. Classes will be limited to 5 companies with a maximum of 3 people per company. No walk-ins will be able to participate. Mock payments will be created for those that RSVP in advance in order to offer hands on experience to all that participate. We highly encourage attendees to bring their own laptop and/or tablet for the classes. We will have a limited amount of tablets on hand.
