A Letter to Counselors
Thank you for accepting our invitation to participate in the Angst documentary viewing. We value the work you do in the community and are so excited to have you join us! Below you will find details about the documentary and what your role will be on the day of the viewing.
About the Documentary
The film Angst is a documentary surrounding the growing issue of anxiety within our population but especially our young adults. This 56-minute film shares the struggles our youth face and specific ways to deal with anxiety, something every person has to some degree. Michael Phelps, who is featured in the film, dedicated his time to share his experiences. His goal was to help young adults understand it’s okay to talk about these struggles and ask for help when they are feeling overwhelmed with “life.” It’s a powerful and extremely well-done film.
Following the viewing, we are hosting a panel discussion and Q&A that will include Karin Gornick, the executive producer from Los Angeles, Dana Reader, moderator and event producer, Katie Chain as a parent member, Joy Brookins our student panel member, and myself, Dr. Kirleen Neely, LPC/PhD as the mental health professional. This is a FREE event to the public.

Email firstname.lastname@example.org confirming you will be able to attend. We will provide you with a ticket for yourself and one guest to attend the event.
