SASH Reuse Master Plan: 

Visioning and Alignment Session
 

On March 21, 2023, Bexar County Commissioners Court approved a motion to move forward and conduct a San Antonio State Hospital Reuse Study (SASH). HKS Inc Architects was selected to develop an adaptive reuse plan on how to repurpose the vacated buildings and surrounding properties at the SASH. As Community Behavioral Health Stakeholders, your experience, input, and recommendations will be key and highly valued. 

To launch the study, we would like to invite you to an input/listening session on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Below you will find the presentation to Commissioners Court which contains additional information including an outline of the scope of work and deliverables assigned to HKS Architects. 

Please join us as we move forward in visioning the best possible community-based proposal.
