On September 10th, the Secretary of State approved Bexar County's application for the Countywide Polling Place Program (CWPP) for the upcoming November 2019 election. Voting Centers will allow voters to vote in any polling place open during early voting and on Election Day. Voters will no longer be restricted to their precinct, if they missed the early voting period. In addition to the Voting Centers, Commissioner Justin Rodriguez secured $200,000 for a robust outreach and education campaign to raise awareness about new voting equipment and the transition to a Vote Center model to ensure voters are informed of the changes and are well prepared to cast their ballot this fall and in November 2020.
