On Tuesday, a Bexar County grand jury returned a no-bill of indictment in the Dec. 21, 2017, shooting death of Amanda Jones. The shooting also resulted in the death of Kameron Prescott, a 6-year-old bystander.
After carefully reviewing and considering the evidence, the grand jury concluded that criminal charges were not appropriate against the Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies involved.
Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales released the following statement: “I respect and agree with the decision of the grand jury in this case.”
