  1. Working with QuickBooks

    August 21, 2018, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

    In this QuickBooks workshop, Certified Public Accountant and small business owner Richard Garcia completes the introduction to the basic features of QuickBooks and provides more in-depth, hands-on practice in a computer lab. Topics covered in this workshop include: using other accounts in QuickBooks (credit card, asset, liability & equity), entering sales and invoices, receiving payments and making deposits, entering and paying bills, setting up inventory and tracking and paying sales tax. Prerequisites: Participants must be computer literate. Some knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting application is preferred. The desktop version of QuickBooks is used for this series. This class is not recommended for online QuickBooks users, as it is very different than the desktop version. Food is not permitted in the computer lab, but drinks with a secure lid are permitted.
