Bexar County Department of Military and Veterans Services
Our Mission
Empowering Bexar County's Veterans, transitioning military, their families, and the military-affiliated community by providing services, connecting them to resources, and facilitating opportunities that benefit them and the community.
We are an advocate agency that serves transitioning military service members, Veterans, military spouses, and their survivors by filing complex Veteran Affairs benefit claims. Our team holds VSO and numerous accreditations and attends mandatory training to stay abreast of the ever-changing laws and regulations concerning Veterans.
Our services, care, and advocacy does not stop after the filing of a Veteran Affairs benefit claim. We continue to follow the progress of the VA claims process with the Veteran/Military Spouse/Dependents throughout the often lengthy time it takes the VA to reach a decision.
The Veteran Affairs benefit claims assistance and advice the Bexar County Department of Military and Veterans Services provides employment and transition support for career pathways.
Contact us today and set up an appointment or register for a FREE Workshop (Job Readiness Topics) at (210) HELP-VET or via e-mail at [email protected].
