Ms. Green was promoted to Director of Public Works on October 1, 2011. Previously she was the County Engineer and has worked for Bexar County since 1995.
In addition to managing the operations of the Alamo RMA, she is responsible for management, supervision and fiscal decisions for several divisions within Bexar County's Public Works Department including Capital Projects, Flood Control, Environmental Services, Development Services, GIS Services, Operational Services, Asset Management, and Fleet Maintenance. The divisions comprise over 200 employees with a total annual operating and capital project budget of approximately $257 million dollars.
She currently is a member of the Metropolitan Planning Organization Policy Board and chairs its Technical Advisory Committee.
She has 32 years of overall engineering and management experience and holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University.
