Bexar County is distributing financial assistance to qualified county residents through Federal relief dollars designated for those directly impacted by the pandemic. 

If you have lost your job or are having trouble paying for rent or utilities because of COVID-19, you may qualify to receive financial help. Click on any of the links below to learn more and start the qualifying process. 

NOTICE:  Effective October 2, 2022, the Online Application for Utility Assistance will be CLOSED until December 31, 2022.  Any incomplete applications submitted before October 2nd will have to be completed in person at our Resource Lab located at 233 N. HUD Mortgage Assistance – Avoid Foreclosure

A HUD-certified housing counselor may be able to help you work with your mortgage servicer to obtain a COVID-19 forbearance. Contact a HUD-approved housing counseling agency in your local area.
