Resolving Civil Disputes Through Mediation

As a general policy, courts encourage the resolution of matters by means of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). ADR as a process can often save time and money as compared to the often lengthy and expensive court process.

Additionally, during this time of Covid-19, when court matters are often delayed, ADR may assist individual litigants, landlords and tenants, and other individuals to achieve a quicker and more efficient resolution.

The Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center provides free mediation services to the citizens of Bexar County. During this time of crisis, the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center has agreed to work with landlords and tenants as well as with representatives from rental assistance programs for both Bexar County and the City of San Antonio.

For more information about ADR or to schedule a mediation, please visit the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center website.
