Cooperative Purchasing Information

The County Purchasing Agent, by orders approved by Commissioners Court, procures goods and services offered by suppliers from cooperative purchasing agreements or programs in order to take advantage of lower prices for bulk purchasing and to reduce the administrative costs involved in the bidding procedure in accordance with Texas Local Government Code Chapter 262 (Purchasing and Contracting Authority of Counties), Local Government Code Chapter 271, Subchapter F (Cooperative Purchasing Program) and the Bexar County Administrative Purchasing Policy No. 8.1. The following list includes, but is not limited to, the programs in which Bexar County participates in:
