GPS/ELM

Global Positioning System

Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system used to provide intensive monitoring and supervision of the defendant's movements at all times.

If the court has ordered GPS as a condition of bond, the defendant will:

  • Be placed on full house arrest, unless otherwise specified by the Judge
  • Be required to maintain an analog or cellular phone service
  • Be required to maintain a stable residence
  • Be required to maintain a standard power source

This is a defendant-paid program. The defendant will be charged $300.00 per month. If the equipment is lost, damaged, or stolen the defendant will be required to pay additional costs.

Electronic Monitoring

  • Be required to maintain an analog land line
  • Be required to maintain a stable residence
  • Be required to maintain a standard power source
