King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain visited Bexar County the weekend of June 16th for Bexar County's 300th Anniversary celebration and the opening of the "Designing America: Spain's Imprint in the United States" exhibit.

On Sunday, June 17th, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia toured the Mission San Jose and then visited the Bexar County Courthouse for the inauguration of the Designing America exhibit.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia also toured the Spanish Governor's Palace where they met with City Council members and staff.
After touring the exhibit, the royal couple enjoyed a dinner at the Pearl Stables with Governor Greg Abbott and other city officials.
King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia also met with Governor Abbott and later visited the San Antonio Museum of Art to tour the Tricentennial exhibit.
