Scope

The scope of this overall project includes the analysis of Leon Creek starting at Loop 410, and following Leon Creek upstream to Huebner Creek just downstream of Bandera Road. This study is to determine the possible channel improvements and the alternatives to reduce structural flooding both in Leon Valley and the City of San Antonio. Segment II will be from just south of Timberhill Drive upstream to the city limit line between Leon Valley and San Antonio. Channel improvements proposed for this segment include channel widening and realignment in order to reduce the floodplain limits in surrounding residential areas.

Project status

Contractor has completed the sanitary sewer work and is now working on the recycled water line, channel excavation, and the CoSA Hike and Bike Trail.
