The Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales is responsible for overseeing the Office of the Criminal District Attorney. This office analyzes and gathers evidence to determine if there are grounds for criminal prosecution for cases within Bexar County. They work with law enforcement officers during an investigation, present cases to the grand jury, and help victims of domestic violence, among other responsibilities.
