Appointed February, 1989.  Judge MacRae attended the University of Virginia Law School in Charlottesville, Virginia. After receiving her law degree she practiced law as a prosecutor in the Bexar County District Attorney's Office and was the first woman to be named chief prosecutor in a felony court. Judge MacRae also Practiced law as a private attorney.
