Limited Jurisdiction

A Small Claims Court is judicial forum which hears and decides cases invloving claims in the amount of $10,000.00 or less.  It is important to remember that a Small Claims Court only awards a Judgment for money and cannot require one to do some act or to refrain from doing some act.
