Difficult to Collect on Judgments

This court does not collect the judgment for you. The Judge has no power to collect on a judgment other than by the issuance of writs.  Because Plaintiffs frequently find it difficult to collect their money once they have a judgment, Plaintiffs should first review the procedures for collection listed below and determine if they can collect on a judgment Before they file suit.  Collection procedures can be complex and difficult and you are encouraged to consult with an attorney about how to collect on a judgment.
