Judge Linda Penn's jurisdiction as presiding Justice of the Peace of Precinct 4 includes civil, small claims, and Class C misdemeanor cases which do not exceed the jurisdictional limit of $10,000. Other responsibilities for Judge Penn include conducting hearings, performing marriage ceremonies, serving as a notary public, handling truancy cases, and issuing warrants.
