THE BEXAR COUNTY ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT is responsible for voter registration activities and election operations throughout Bexar County.  That includes 712 voting precincts in Bexar County, 53 political subdivisions, 20 Independent School Districts, 29 Cities, 4 Military Installations (Lackland AFB, Ft. Sam Houston, Brooks City-Base and Randolph AFB) and approximately 876,895 registered voters.
