Location

Bexar County is located in central-south Texas and is strategically positioned in a prime logistical center of the United States. Bexar County is located at the intersection of two major cross-country interstates IH-35 (North/South) and IH-10 (East/West) and is also home to the San Antonio International Airport (SAT) with over 14 major service providers and direct flights to leading cities, including leading Mexico destinations.

The County is served by Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad, as well as Union Pacific (UP), who recently announced the development of a $90 million dollar rail port to serve the growing traffic in containerized cargo.

The Port Authority of San Antonio is also investing millions of dollars for extensive multimodal facilities, including rail and substantial air cargo capabilities on its runway, which is long enough to land every type and size of aircraft currently in service. As a result, from Bexar County, all of northern Mexico, as well as Texas and the entire central United States can be cost-effectively served for all modes of logistics with the highest degree of reliability.
