Multi-Door Program:

The Center's Multi-Door Information and Referral program is the initial point of entry for an individual or business with a dispute.  Referrals to the Dispute Resolution Center come from a multitude of  sources:  family, friends, public service announcements, the Attorney General's Child Support Division, the telephone book, and websites, among others.

In addition to offering mediation services, the Dispute Resolution Center also opens doors by offering referrals to other appropriate governmental, legal, social service and community resources that might prove helpful in resolving the problem.

HOW DO I SEEK HELP?

  1. Call the Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) or bring your completed Application Form to our office and speak with a DRC representative.
  2. DRC staff will work with you to clarify the situation.
  3. DRC will identify the most appropriate entities available to resolve the situation.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?

    1. Name, mailing address, and telephone number of the person or business you are having a problem with.

    2. Court orders, if any, relating to the dispute (such as a divorce decree or paternity papers).
