ATTORNEY MICHELLE LORENZ VALICEK INDICTED FOR MISAPPLICATION OF ESTATE FUNDS

 

 

San Antonio, Texas: October 14, 2009:

Bexar County District Attorney Susan D. Reed announced today that attorney Michelle Lorenz Valicek, age 51, was indicted by a Bexar County Grand Jury for the offense of Misapplication of Fiduciary Property over $200,000.00.

The charges stem from Valicek's involvement as the Independent Administrator for the Estate of John Robert Bonner, a relative of Valicek's paternal grandmother, Margaret Lorenz. Valicek was appointed Independent Administrator of the estate in January, 2006, and was removed by Bexar County Probate Judge Tom Rickhoff in July, 2008.

Misapplication of Fiduciary Property over $200,000.00 is a first degree felony, punishable by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for life or for any term of not more than 99 years or less than 5 years. In addition to imprisonment, a fine not to exceed $10,000.00 may be assessed.
