TEACHER’S AIDE PLEADS GUILTY TO MOLESTING MENTALLY RETARDED BOYS

San Antonio, Texas; June 09, 2006: Ernest Huizar, 55, pled guilty today to two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault, and two counts of Indecency with a Child by contact and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Between January of 2006 through March of 2006, Huizar sexually assaulted two mentally retarded boys while working at Brackenridge High School as a teacher's aide. The assaults took place in the bathroom adjacent to the classroom and in a classroom closet.

As part of the plea he will have to register as a sex offender for life and he was required to surrender his Texas Educator Certificate.
