Heart Gallery of San Antonio is a project of the Friends of the Bexar County Child Welfare Board.  The Heart Gallery is a journey that brings artistic photographs of children who are waiting to be adopted into public spaces.  Partnering with Barry's Blue Ribbon Assists; the Hidalgo Foundation; and the Department of Family and Protective Services, the Heart Gallery of San Antonio will travel to community and corporate venues where the photographs will attract potential adoptive families.

On April 8, 2006 from 7-9 pm, the Friends of the Bexar County Child Welfare Board  hosted a Heart Gallery of San Antonio grand opening photo exhibit and reception at the San Antonio Museum of Art.  The event featured beautiful photographs taken by local photographers who have volunteered their time and expertise to help the children of our community in the greatest of need find homes.
