The Criminal Investigation Laboratory is an independent, fee-for-service, forensic laboratory operated by Bexar County in San Antonio, Texas.   The Criminal Investigation Laboratory offers services in Drug Identification, Evidence Receiving, Firearms, Serology/DNA and Trace Evidence.

Operating Hours:

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday - Friday

Note:  The Evidence Clerks will close and secure the evidence vault no later than 4:50 p.m. each work day and will receive no evidence after the vault is closed.  Please contact the Evidence Receiving section at (210) 335-4100 for instructions on submitting evidence after regular work hours..
