Requiescat In Pace

We are saddened to mark the passing of one of our longest serving reserve deputies, Corporal James R. Godfrey. For nearly 23 years Corporal Godfrey has diligently served the citizens of Bexar County and donated his time end efforts to this office.  Corporal Godfrey's easy smile and professional manner will be greatly missed by all of Precinct 2 and everyone who knew him.  Corporal Godfrey served his country during World War II in the United States Army Air Corps, 9th Air Force in England, France, and Belgium, from just before D-Day until the end of the war.  Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 12 2007 at Alamo Funeral Home, 624 N. Alamo.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2007 at 10:00 AM  at the same location with interment at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
