Britta

K9 Britta passes: 

Britta served the Precinct 2 Constables Office and the citizens of Bexar County faithfully.  During her tour of service she led the way to recieve awards as one of the top narcotic detector dogs in the State of Texas.  During competition she recieved two gold medals and held the rank of K-9 Sergeant.

After 11 years of detecting drugs, Britta has passed away.  As her health and quality of life deteriorated to the point where she was in constant pain, Deputy Fullen had her humanely put to sleep.  At 3:55pm, November 17, 2006, Britta was quietly placed in Heavens Kennels,  where she will wait for Deputy Fullen to once again pick up her leash, and walk a beat, this time on Heavens Streets.
