Briscoe Western Art Museum

                    THE MAIN ENTRANCE AND "ANCHOR" BUILDING OF THE BRISCOE MUSEUM

                        WAS BUILT IN 1929 HOUSIN GTHE MAIN LIBRARY OF SAN ANTONIO.

The national Western Art Foundation (NWAF) and the Briscoe Museum strive to serve as a catalyst for the creation of art relating to the West, as a forum for the interpretation and examination of western art and history, and as a repository for information relating to American Western art. The Briscoe Museum will tell the story of how our many cultures make up the mosaic that is the American West.
