    FEBRUARY 17, 1950 WAS THE FIRST ANNUAL SAN ANTONIO STOCK SHOW & RODEO.

• Attendance for the 2009 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo was 1,313,785.
• For the fourth consecutive year, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo was voted the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) large Indoor Rodeo of the Year.

Heating and air conditioning units located above the walkway will provide climate control throughout the building.

The northwest corner of the building has a divided space suitable for many uses, including cattle pens.

The new buildings total 315,900 sq. ft., of which 180,900 sq. ft. will be climate controlled and will feature:

• A competition arena measuring 125 feet wide by 300 feet long
• 126 prime commercial exhibit spaces
• Climate controlled warm-up arena and show arena
• 1,500 spectator seats
• Approximately 750 new stalls
• Indoor wash racks
• Improved unloading areas for trailers
