PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
|
- Homes must be located within the geographic boundaries of Bexar County.
- Must be a first-time homebuyer (cannot have owned a home during the three years prior to closing) except for properties purchased in the Targeted Area.
- Must occupy the home as your primary residence.
- Must attend a homebuyer education class.

TARGETED AREA
|

Targeted Areas have different standards than Non-Targeted Areas such as you do not have to be a first-time homebuyer and income and purchase price limits are higher. The Targeted Area is comprised of 27 census tracts, click here for map.

DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE
|
|
Participating lenders will provide mortgage loans and grants for down payment and closing cost assistance. Homes purchased in the Priority Loan Area will receive 6% of the mortgage loan amount in down payment assistance and homes purchased outside the Priority Loan Area will receive 4%.
|

|
PRIORITY LOAN AREA

The Priority Loan Area includes properties located anywhere in the following areas, click here for map :

- Inside Loop 410;
- South of Highway 90; or
- Outside Loop 410 between IH-35 N. and IH-10 E.
