VIA Big Pass Means Big Bucks to Riders!

That's right.  VIA's Big Pass means "big bucks" to riders!

With the ever-increasing prices of gas, the role of VIA in providing economic, safe and comfortable transportation only increases in value by the day.  And, the recent increases in gas prices is a mere foretelling of the future, given limited supplies and seemingly unlimited demand for gas brought about by the robust economies of billion population countries like China and India and their desire for an auto lifestyle.

But savings on gas in only one of the great reasons for using the Big Pass of VIA!  Freedom from paying the skyrocketing parking fees puts money in the pockets of employees and employers alike!

Taking the bus also means hassle-free transportation and decongested expressways.  With less traffic congestion both those on the bus and those in their cars will profit from being able to reclaim more time for themselves instead of being stuck in a crawl or worse yet, a huge parking lot on the expressway!  Yet another reason for taking the bus:  A rested and less stress-filled workforce surely will be a happier and more productive workforce.

All of these reasons are why Bexar County, the NUMBER ONE SELLER OF THE VIA BIG PASS is so excited.  We subsidize an unlimited number of Big Passes for our employees to the extent of paying $15.00 of the $20.00 for each pass purchased by Bexar County employees.  We are excited about the tremendous success of the Big Pass here at Bexar County and we challenge our sister governments and private employers alike to take the bus using the Big Pass!
