Q:  When can I appear before the Judge?

A:  Your Court Date is located on your citation and/or summons to appear in court.  You may also contact the court to inquire on your court date.

Q:  Do you accept personal checks?

A:  No, We accept money orders, cashier checks and cash only.  You also have the option to pay online as well.

Q:  If I want to plea NOT GUILTY, what should I do?

A:  You would need to appear on a Wednesday at 1:00 PM to confer with an Assistant District Attorney for traffic citations.  

Q:  Who do I contact to make a complaint against the officer?

A:      In order to make a complaint against an officer, please notify the agency that issued the ticket (i.e. DPS, Bexar County Sheriffs Office, Constables and so on).

Q:  What can I do if I have an ACTIVE WARRANT ?

A:  You may contact the Constable's office at 210-335-4962 or 210-335-4963.  If you wish to pay the outstanding warrant, payment must be in CASH; MONEY ORDER; or CASHIERS CHECK or ONLINE.  "PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR PAYMENT ON AN ACTIVE WARRANT."

Frequently Asked Questions- Juvenile/Truancy:

QCan I reset my court date?

A:  A reset cannot be done over the phone.  The defendant (child)  must appear in person.  Please note:  The request MUST be made in writing and MUST be signed by the defendant (child) and the parent. 

QI still do not have my court cost, can I get an  extension?

A:  You will need to appear in person before the Court on your scheduled date and time. 

QWhat if I have not finished all my hours for   Community Service?

A:  On your reset date bring proof/documentation of everything you  have completed.  Your request for an extension will be decided on a case by case basis.


Q: Where can I do my Community Service Hours?

A:  Hours must be completed at a "NON PROFIT AGENCY".  A list of agencies that may be in your area can be provided upon request.
