TECHNOLOGY
TRAINING and SUPPORT

The goal of the Technology Training and Support division is to ensure that all Bexar County employees get the technological training necessary to do their jobs quickly and efficiently. Along with providing countywide enterprise application solutions as well as software testing and development, they provide monthly courses, with varying skill levels, at one of their four training locations in conjunction with their online eLearning courses that any employee can do at his or her desk.

The Training and Support division also provides training for the users of the Bexar County Public Information Network (BCPIN). Information regarding BCPIN can be found on BCIT's Public Information page and details can be found on the BCPIN FAQ page.

Vanessa Mayorga

Vanessa A. Mayorga is the lead Senior Technology Training Specialist for Bexar County Information Technology and has been serving Bexar County since 2008. Prior to working for Bexar County, Vanessa worked for 3 years with Texas MedClinic as a Software Analyst & Technical Trainer. Vanessa received her Bachelor's of Business Administration – Information Systems from the University of the Incarnate Word.

Salvador Martinez

Salvador E. Martinez is the Senior Technology Training Specialist for the County Integrated Justice System (CIJS), a division within Bexar County Information Technology, and has served Bexar County since 2010. Prior to joining Bexar County, he managed an education program for the Texas Army National Guard. Salvador served in the U.S. Army and is a member of the Texas Army National Guard with 15 years of military service. Salvador will receive a Bachelor's of Business Management and Program Acquisition.

Maria Evans is a Technology Training Specialist for Bexar County Information Technology and has been serving Bexar County since 2007. Prior to working for Bexar County, Maria was Director of Technology of a major law firm in Los Angeles, California. Maria received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Information Systems from The University of Texas.

Tomas Escamilla

Tomas Escamilla is a Technology Training Specialist for Bexar County Information Technology and has been serving Bexar County since 2012. Prior to joining Bexar County, Tomas served 10 years active duty in the United States Air Force doing a wide range of jobs eventually finishing out in Information Technology field. Tomas has his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and will be receiving his Master’s in Business Administration from The University of the Incarnate Word.

Estevan Ramirez

Estevan Ramirez is a Technology Training Specialist for Bexar County Information Technology and has been serving Bexar County since 2012. Prior to working for Bexar County Estevan was a technology trainer for the Northside Adult & Community Education program here in San Antonio. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Computer Information Systems from The University of Texas-Pan American.
