Bexar County Information Technology

Enterprise Resource Planning
(ERP) Systems

The ERP Division of the Bexar County Information Technology Department is responsible for the development, implementation, functionality, user support and technology maintenance of all operations that run on SAP and Lawson. These ERP systems integrate internal and external management information across the County. Payroll, timekeeping, human resources, budget and planning, Employee and Manager Self Service, eRecruitment, procurement and financial management all run on either SAP or Lawson.

ERP systems automate these activities with integrated software applications. Their purpose is to facilitate the flow of information between all business functions inside the boundaries of the organization and manage the connections to outside stakeholders.
