Our Mission:

The mission of the Economic Development Department is to attract and maintain high growth, value-added businesses, industries and investments to Bexar County through public/private initiatives and to promote Bexar County as a world-class destination for living, working and doing business.

What We Do:

The Economic Development Department facilitates public/ private partnerships to stimulate commercial, industrial and residential development in specified areas of the County. The Department is also actively engaged in encouraging and promoting international trade opportunities, with particular focus on Latin American and Asian markets.

Our professional staff is dedicated to helping businesses successfully expand in or relocate to Bexar County. We work with each company to identify their specific needs and create an incentive package tailored to the project's requirements.
