To all Bexar County Citizens:
The Bexar County Commissioners Court invites you to participate in its public hearing process that will determine how funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will be allocated.
These federal funds can be utilized in the unincorporated areas of Bexar County and in the following cities that participate in the Bexar County Urban County jurisdiction.

Bexar County has set the following categories as priorities for federal funds:

Public Service |
limited to 15% of total allocation |
|
Public Facilities |
health clinics, day care centers, senior citizen centers, etc. |
|
Infrastructure |
street reconstruction, water mains, sewers, drainage projects, etc. |
|
Housing |
rehabilitation, construction of single and multi-family housing, rental assistance, etc. |
|
Economic Development |
assistance to for-profit businesses that leads to the creation of jobs for low to moderate income persons |
|
