Deputy Chief Louis Quinones - Assistant Jail Administrator
DEPUTY CHIEF LOUIS A. QUINONES, JR. serves as the Assistant Jail Administrator of Detention Administration & Accreditation. Quinones is responsible to supervise the areas of Standards and Compliance, Annex Operations, Jail Programs, Jail Support Services, Work Release Program, Global Positioning Program and Inmate Visitation. He reports directly to Chief Raul S. Banasco.
Quinones has more than 26 years of experience in the field of corrections while employed at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, Osceola County Corrections Department and Orange County Corrections Department. Quinones began his career as a Detention Deputy with Broward County Sheriff’s Office in 1987 and rose through the ranks of Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Shift Captain and Captain of Security among three county agencies.
Deputy Chief Quinones earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia College and a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University. He is also a Certified Public Manager, Certified Jail Manager, Certified Corrections Manager, and a Certified National Auditor for the American Correctional Association.
