Best of the Web 2016 Finalist
The Digital Government Achievement Awards (DGAA) highlight outstanding agency and department websites and applications. Awards were presented in seven categories this year.

“Government websites have changed a lot over the past 20 years and so have citizen expectations,” said Todd Sander, executive director of the Center for Digital Government. “This year’s winners are well positioned to take up the challenge of a new era and lead the impending transformation toward more integrated, anticipatory and personalized electronic services.”

In 2016, Bexar County was recognized as one of ten finalist in the County Portal category.
2016 Digital Counties Survey Winner Badge
The Digital Counties Survey, conducted by CDG in partnership with NACo, identifies the best technology practices among U.S. counties, including initiatives that save tax dollars through newfound efficiencies; boost transparency, cybersecurity and engagement; or innovate through unique and exciting projects.

In 2016, Bexar County was ranked 7th among counties that served a population of 500,000 or more.
BOW Winner 2015
The annual Best of the Web (BOW) awards recognize city, county and state governments for outstanding portals and websites based on innovation, functionality, productivity and performance.

In 2015, Bexar County was ranked 4th in the County Portal Category.
DGAA Winner 2015
The Digital Government Achievement Awards (DGAA) highlight outstanding agency and department websites and applications.

The Criminal District Attorney's eDiscovery System won an award in the Government-to-Business category in 2015.
2015 Winner Digital Counties Survey
The Digital Counties Survey recognizes leading examples of counties using technology to improve services and boost efficiencies.

“Counties across the country are using technology to enhance services, maximize efficiency and save money,” said NACo Executive Director Matthew D. Chase. “The Digital Counties Survey recognizes county innovation that strengthens communities and builds a stronger America.”

In 2015, Bexar County was ranked 5th amongst counties that served a population of 500,000 or more.

The Digital Counties Survey awards focuses on identifying the best work being done by county government technology agencies, and shed light on the technology trends of tomorrow.

“Counties across the country are using technology to enhance services, maximize efficiency and save money,” said NACo Executive Director Matthew D. Chase. “The Digital Counties Survey recognizes counties’ best practices and effective uses of technology to better serve their communities.”

In 2014, Bexar County was ranked 8th amongst counties that served a population of 500,000 or more.
Best of Texas 2014 Winner
The 2014 Best of Texas Awards showcased what it means to advance public sector IT at the state and local level.

In 2014, the Bexar County BiblioTech was selected for the Best IT Collaboration Among Organizations award and the Active Felony Warrants GIS Application won the Best In-House Developed Application award.
