Mailroom

Purpose

The Information Facilities Maintenance Mailroom maintains the highest level of Customer care, while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude. The purpose of the Central Mailroom is to process and distribute Bexar County’s Mail (USPS, Internal and Interoffice) in a timely and cost effective manner. We serve as point of reference for all Bexar County Departmental matters pertaining to mail processing and distribution.


Receiving, Sorting, Distribution of USPS Mail

Departments are assigned an account reference number for proper processing of U.S. Postal Mail and correct chargeback of mail processed. We prepare and maintain monthly accounting, annual budget and other activity reports for county offices. These reports are provided to department upon request.

Bexar County Facilities Maintenance Central Mailroom staff consists of 3 Full Time Mail Clerks and one supervisor.
