Technical Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities

The Technical Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities serves as a link between citizens with disabilities and Bexar County. The committee provides assistance to offices and departments to ensure equal accessibility to opportunities in employment, facilities, services and programs. The committee shall make recommendations to Commissioners Court on issues concerning employment policies and practices, provision of services and programs, and access to facilities.

Additionally, the committee shall provide educational services designed to inform and sensitize County employees to the various accessibility problems faced by persons with disabilities.
